This is not a complete list. I will spend some time researching them in the future, but my time is taken up with the other things for quite a while. I add names as I come across them, but wish the list gave a complete history for you. In the meantime, if you have anymore info, please pass it on - it might help someone out.

Apologies for the very short list and the many gaps, but some of the pub names might be interesting to you, such as the The Driffield Cow, which was on Westgate. If you need further information, sources are given as a starting point to do your own research, but I can help if you need to know where to find the original sources.  Don't forget - even one name can be a help, so please pass it on (up to present day). I can give you an email link if you are descended from any of them.  Once complete, the list will be invaluable to researchers in genealogy or local history.
