I am not specifically researching schools in the area, but if I find anything else of interest, I will post it on here. If anyone else has any research in their files, relevant to schools in the area, I would be more than pleased to add it to this site to share with others. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Hull Advertiser, December 25, 1813 DRIFFIELD ACADEMY Conducted by the Rev JOHN EARLE, Member of St John’s College, Cambridge And properly qualified ASSISTANTS Will re-open after the Christmas Recess, on Monday, January 24, 1814 In the above establishment, Young Gentlemen are carefully instructed in Greek and Latin; the Grammatical Construction of the English Language; the Mathmatics; Geography, and the Use of Globes; with the Method of Drawing Maps, Practical Land Surveying and Ornamental Planning, &c.
